Is the litmus test for being a terrible funder based on one deal? So it's one mistake and you're screwed for the next 3 years until it falls off your permanent record? Or you pay someone to have it expunged? How would one bad or good experience sway any intelligent person in one direction or another? Some of these guys do hundreds of deals a week, if a third of one percent had issues, that's almost perfect, yet you'd be talking about a new angry rant from someone every single day...what's the point?

A lot of times the "mistake" stems from a broker who doesn't have a clear understanding of the process or fails to properly manage the client's expectations.

I think you have to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak on these posts complaining about funders stealing deals. If the same funder appears multiple times from different posters I think it's a heads up. One complaint from one poster doesn't carry much weight especially when you have other posters stating they've used that funder for multiple years with no problems.

Pretty soon we will drive all the sponsors out of this forum. Everyone makes mistakes or two, but most lenders are willing to correct the problem if they are at fault.

Snap has always been good to me
My least favorite funder is Ondeck , they steal renewals and to put it bluntly are simply a bunch of thieves
