In general what are the benefits/drawbacks of this?

Here are a few quick observances (there is more to it though).

Merchant Benefits (pro's and con's):
1. PRO: Get the deal funded without requiring the merchant to switch cc processing co's.
2. PRO: Follows merchants cash flow...when sales are slow, the percentage to pay back is much easier for the merchant to manage, vs a fixed ACH payment from the bank account.
3. CON: CC deposits are delayed into the merchants operating account for 1 to 2 business days

ISO Benefits:
1. Get the more deals funded, great way to work around excessive NSF activity

Funder Benefits:
1. Funder gets paid before anyone else
2. Funder doesn't have to worry about bounced payments

Funder Cons:
1. As with any split payment arrangement, there is always a risk that the merchant can divert funds away or change processors/banks without notifying funder.
2. CC transactions slow down, causing slow payback

Most processors work within 1/2 days.
