It used to be much easier to set guys up like this situation using a CPN or credit profile number, which operated in lieu of a social, but it’s illegal now and feds will come, but it worked in the past for many foreigners, including a few from Brazil for funding and worked even with traditional retail banks.

If he has a work visa, he has an ITIN. Cooper and handful of other funders on this site will fund with an ITIN, in lieu of a SSN.

Yeah, some funders will do it with a work visa provided the visa doesn’t expire during the term of the advance. But the file really needs to be clean.
