So is this just a list you purchased and are reselling over and over and over....?

Can your customers target their list based on their own criteria? Can you provide a contact name or even an owner contact on every lead?

When was your data last updated? How often do you update the data?

Are the email addresses and phone numbers varified?

I noticed you only offer just a few states... "CA AND FL are only available at this time. NY, NJ, TX coming September 2014."

Awesome questions Rob. First and foremost, Infogroup is the standard bearer. The best in the business right now. We are nipping at your heels! :-P

Now to answer your questions. The list we are selling comes from a sample size of 10,000 leads that we ATTEMPTED to append by ONLY targeting cash advance UCCs. That filtered down to about 7,000 total appended UCCs.

Then we removed duplicates. That moved out about another 1,000. After we double verified phone numbers, that filtered down to a grand total of roughly 5,000.

We know that roughly 70% (based on our testing) of emails can be connected to a Facebook account. Suffice it to say, at least 70% of the emails are valid.

    Methodology

    Florida
We started with one state in what seemed like many months ago. We started in Florida. Florida allows you to download all UCC data as new as 48 hours - dating back 40 years. They give you these 3 HUGE files and you have to consolidate only a few thousand of the many million UCCs into one file. BEFORE APPENDING! Lots of software and trial and error to nail it.

    California
For $100 per month, CA will let you buy that last 40 years of UCCs (millions of rows) in XML format!!!! New state. New system. New method. Such a pain! We worked our magic on those and that is reflected in the sample. The goal is to fully automate from sorting to appendage. We are getting close.

    New York
We figured out how to scrape NY by using the string value passed to the URL browser window and solved the puzzle. The way each UCC is numbered can be figured out with math. Once you have the pattern, your produce URLs. Then of course... There are now two processes. Sorting out non MCA stuff, then appending.

    NJ
    Piece of cake.

    OH
    Close to nailing it.

    TX
Kind of like CA. Pay money. Get data. And it's on you to make it useful.

    Where We Are Going
We want buying UCCs to be as easy as
    1. Going online.
    2. Selecting a filter (state, secured, etc)
    3. Name quantity ($20 minimum).
    4. Pay
    5. Download.

It should be a great e-commerce experience.

No more placing an order over the phone. Waiting for delivery. Waiting for a monthly refresh when you can get daily (FL,NY,NJ for example).

We are just selling UCCs now for a bunch of reasons that I'm sure you are smart enough to sort through yourself.
