smart business or they funded it thru ace , or they are the same company ? which is also new era/ byz advance. This is getting really confusing

I have done deals and been paid by Smart Business Funders before (directly, they paid 9 points like in the above example), even got paid on 2 renewals, but I recently submitted a file to them and got the same rejection letter from them as I did from Ace for the same deal.
