I have done deals and been paid by Smart Business Funders before (directly, they paid 9 points like in the above example), even got paid on 2 renewals, but I recently submitted a file to them and got the same rejection letter from them as I did from Ace for the same deal.

the lawsuit says Smart Business sent merchant the $1million, and they are the ones debiting the 11K + daily, so regardless of who else syndicated they are the funder and paid GN the comish.

I also learned that AIRS Capital also helped get the MCA paid off and help the funder finish the term. I guess it helps that they were after the $70,000 commission once it got paid off.

He brought the deal in, helped get it funded, made sure it got paid off early, and took the devils dick right in his ass. Whoever was involved with the deal funding is responsible for this. I’ve seen Greenote pay out on certain deals normally. I’ve also seen them screw people. I think it depends if you have a decent relationship with them.
