Depends Gyms do great going into new years .. many use capital to market via local mailers / door-to-door sign-ups.... can turn the capital into an entire new user base that allows him to open another location -- who knows sky's the limit in america.

I've been involved with merchants since 2001. They run their business with the same entrepreneurial vigor like they are the CEO of fortune 500 (maybe even more) -- Instead of them seeking to buy power plants and new factories they plan 7 days a week how to grow their GYM and depending on their size 8K in Toledo Ohio can in effect double their membership and get revenues to grow by double digits. its a misconception by way to many that business owners are not saavy -- they are business owners!

I ran a gym for a small while, my brother owns one.

To improve cash flow, you aggressively push a new offer, say $99 3 month bootcamp, you advertise a promo gym membership (Pay today and 2nd month free), you hardcore push supplements, get every customer to buy a protein shake/preworkout etc.

I mean thats how we looked at it and what we did. If you really are pushing, what are they paying like $330 daily in total?
You can push $100/day out of your current clients if you push for a sale every time they scan in.
You think you cant sign up 1 new customer a day for $99?
Hell a groupon would even work in these situations.
