What makes a good processor?

I can identify, recruit, and train great salespeople... but with processors I can't seem to quite hit the mark.

What do you guys think a great processor does, acts, and thinks like?

Driven, not afraid to be on a sales floor filled with a lot of strong personalities, some phone sales experience (a lot of the processors I have worked with have had to deal with a lot of incoming phone calls from ISO's, merchants, etc... the best processor I ever worked with closed a 50k deal when the top sales guy in our firm was too afraid to answer the merchants angry phone calls), great organizational skills, etc....

The processors I have worked with have all worked their way up to eventually becoming operation managers but they work hard and don't give up

don't hire paper pushers, sales experience a plus

Zero.A great processor is one that follows exact instruction on what he or she needs to do.
