    commission clawback

Is it standard for a funding company to require commission clawback if a default happens within 30 days? I have an ISO that is in complete shock that we are clawing back the commission and he claims to be working with 30 funders who do not have any clawback commission policy. I find it hard to believe that 30 funder's exist who don't clawback commission.

30 Funders who do not have commission clawback policy? That is impossible. Some lenders do it/ some lenders don't do it.

The 30 Funders that don’t clawback are YSC and 29 other whitelabels using YSC.

Don't get me wrong, if a deal screws us out the gate more than likely we will ask for commission back, it's just the right thing to do anyway if you're the iso. After a week or 2 if there's issues its on us.

    Just correct him:
He works with 30 lenders with no clawback policy, and 1 lender with a clawback policy.
Then tell him you work with 100 ISOs who can read, and 1 ISO who cannot read their agreements lol.

I mean if he cant read an ISO agreement thats not your fault
