    Funders Forum Conference – Washington D.C. - Nov 12th & 13th

Lots of changes ahead coming for this industry - whether they be at the Federal level (Federal Trade Commission or Congressional), State level (CA, NY, NJ) or how best to handle collections, etc. Feels like we could spend all our time doing nothing but going to conferences about our business rather than focusing on our business, lol…..but check out the agenda – looks like this might be worth checking out:

Definitely strong agenda of speakers....many of these folks speaking will be folks with knowledge of how this industry will be impacted. Best to be prepared. Thanks for heads up - will make effort to attend.

I too believe this is a must for both ISOs and Funders. A lot of rumbling going on in DC about our industry. Now is the time to get involved.

looks like a conference actually worth its weight - besides just having an open bar in a nice location

The chairman of the senate banking committee is a pretty big speaker. Is this exclusively for funders or will ISOs also be attending?

who is the organizer of this

This is an event put on by the CFC but all funders and ISO's are welcome. We will be attending as a funder, but would love to see as many folks there as possible. Great agenda!

got you so all the a funders part of the other coalition wont come. What is the advantages/differences of this compared to debanked broker fair?

All funders are welcome. There is no reason why non-CFC members shouldn't come. This conference focuses on regulatory and legislative measures that the industry is facing. Take a look at the agenda to see some of the speakers/attendees:

This is a legit impressive lineup. But not sure I see value in listening to Chuck Todd speak on alternative small business lending. That’s just weird.

Chuck Todd isn’t there to talk about alternative small business lending - he’s there to talk about politics, the election how those might impact the financial industry – Moderator of Meet the Press seems like a pretty good get for a speaker on politics.

Also, I don’t think it’s just CFC companies, I heard On Deck and Kabbage were going to be speaking on one of the panels…
