    Aged

Startup, Im assuming you dont want to pay for live transfers.

    Better than UCC's.

Thanks for that. Of course we'll be generating our own leads in some respects, but to avoid calling every business in the yellowpages in the beginning, we'd like to utilize a lead generating firm to help narrow down the search criteria.

Correct. And that's what we were thinking to stick to the budget, but weren't sure what the typical close rate would be for aged vs. live transfer.

As a start up, we're not expecting a high close rate to begin with either way, just don't want to waste a bunch of time calling on leads that have been called by 100 other companies this week.

Every company is getting hundreds of calls, emails and texts a week. The only difference than calling from a phone book is you will have a contact persons name. And your own “peace of mind” that these leads are interested in speaking to you because they’re sold as a “lead”. When in reality it’s just data.

I'm glad this subject came up....

I'm considering diversifying into MCAs... my concern is how crowded the space has become. But just the same I wanted to go old school phone room-style with some openers aka appt setters aka fronters.... and closers (namely myself at first) to come in behind them and TO the calls, etc. I've seen this style work for some very hard to close high-ticket items...and I'm also aware of some real hard-hitting MCA shops (6m-7m/month) that still use this method.

In a few sample purchases from lead vendors I found *****d out leads and merchants stacked to the balls and/or merchants with little volume like 10k/month. Lots of trash. So my thought is: Buying raw data and -making- your own leads out of them will give you cleaner results? Coupled with some email/nurturing/digital constant contact campaigns...

Downside might be the payroll cost you incur hiring fronters and closers until they start closing... Upside cleaner paper.

    Thoughts anyone?
