Expansion is strong. They quietly can easily compete with EBF, Knight, Fundworks, etc. They were one of the few that never relied on COJs, but now that everyone is dropping them they lose their advantage. But they offer really solid early pay discounts, and let you know the discount when they send the offer. So they’re best for B-C paper where the merchant only needs money for 1-2 months to take advantage of the discount.

    Wellen has Minimal Stips

12 Month 1.40's with 12 Points for the most part

LG does a little bit of everything

Expansion doesn't really offer anything that sets them aside from their competitors (imo anyway)

Wellen is better than OnDeck now, even beating out Kapitus and IOU on some deals
Expansion is pretty good, but pretty picky but when they like a deal they can do a 1.25 buy over 10 months on a second
    LG isn't that strong

Wow! so going with Wellen now I fund good amount of deals with Ondeck and Kapitus. IOU is crazy on dollar amount and buy rate but they are very picky as well. My last deal with IOU was 150k 12 months 1.20 buy rate

    This is NOT CORRECT.

Are you talking about dollar amount? If so then Wellen MAY be better.

But Wellen is not getting close to IOU or Ondeck on PRICE

Let alone TERM - Both Ondeck and IOU will go out longer than 12 months - Wellen does not

    wellen is not touching this

Wellens Offer would be 150k 1.40 Paying 12 Points for 12 Months (AKA: The Lowest your getting is a 1.29 Paying 1 Point)

  10. #10
they won't touch that, 1.20 buy rate, but we've lost tons of deals to them pitching a 6 month everest deal at 1.38 when wellen swoopes in and gives the guy a 1.29 over 12 with 5 negative days per month
    I should've said this

    Wellen - cleanest
    Expansion - Mid
LG - Likes it clean, but gives offers like the deals were dirtier than they are sometimes

Wellen is Great due to MINIMAL Stips, and their Offers BEING SOLID. Pre Approvals are pretty much solid approvals.

And that is eaither an IN HOUSE deal - Or they paid the Broker 1 POINT - As I said ABOVE

Their Pricing Matrix is simple - 1.40 with 12 Points built in - over 12 Months

But Comparing an Everest Deal to Wellen - Yea Wellen is going to beat EBF.

But take other 1st Position Lenders, IOU, Rapid, Can, OnDeck.... Wellen really isnt going to compete

  14. #14
Wellen is more in the sub $50k funding market. 6-12 month deals. 1.28-1.40 factors. They give some crazy offers on some **** looking deals.

LG seems to put out solid weekly payment deals. Not overly aggressive.

Yeap. My funders list is short! I work with very few people. Mostly Ondeck/Kapitus/Knight/Everest/LCF/Fundworks are my go to funders.

I've found that IOU charges high fees, or is it just me?

WELLEN gives strong dollar amounts, but the factor is standard MCA pricing....not competitive on pricing.

EXPANSION used to rock the trucking SIC, but they seem to have tightened up over the last year. They send out commish right away, which is good

LG gives those % of depsit offers, which are sometimes a strong selling point. TThey also pay on the payback for commish and send out right away

IOU gives out great base offers, but once you add in their fees, they aren't as spectacular

  19. #19
What fee's are you seeing on IOU deals? Ones I've done have all been 1.20-1.22 buy rate on 12 months and I can build in 10-12 points. Only fee I've seen charged outside of the payback is the $395 admin fee.

% of dollar sales... holy smokes I feel like everyone on this forum has gotten slower since the coj ban. It's still a daily payment. Every funder uw on a holdback of what their pulling behind the other funder. Premier goes as high as 30%.

It may be 14, I thought it was 12 - I do so few of them.

Ive Funded One Deal w/ Wellen, Last Year. It was 14.

Wellen is Great at Minimal Stips. AND their Offers seem to Be Solid from Approval to Funded. Unlike a say Rapid who does everything once signed contracts are back.

True. No % fee just admin of $395 - closest to the net amount of actual loan offer.
