    Not really. They are supposed to respond in a reasonable amount of time.

    FYI-Equipment lenders are famous for dropping an all asset lien when they are doing one-off equipment deals. Drives me nuts getting them to release!

    my case someone screwed up so when he was calling for one 3 years ago he got runaround for awile . seems like most honestly dont know how to handle things at of the norm .
    What is a reasonable amount of time?

    I know when it's a bank asking a bank, it gets done within a few hours.

    Bottom line is there any regulation on a bank that takes their time?maybe banks should have to give approval and declines within 24 hours also?

    He might have been with a tier 1 funder but he most likely called his broker, who wants to shop him around knowing he's trying to get another offer. There's no reason why the original funder would request another application on someone who just paid them off to provide a zero balance letter.
