Anyone who listened to or watched the Senate hearings on COJ's a nd MCAs could quickly tell that it was about way more than just COJs. They are talking about the tightening up and regulating the whole industry
They would start with requiring registration/licenses for all sales reps. that would include background checks and fingerprinting

All this was bound to happen the minute big banks came into the picture and started looking into offering mca's like they do now. They have all the money, their options were either buy out mca's companies to get into this space, or just lobby to make it that much harder for mca lenders and bully them out of the industry. COj's is the first wave to knock few lenders out, then the hammer will drop with regulation on licenses, backgrounds etc etc. That will take out good numbers of reps. Then they will regulate and max out on pricing, this will drive out investors who back mca's lenders. if they are not making the types of returns they are making now they will pull their money and shops will start dropping to finish everything off leaving big banks and few mca lenders in the space.

business finally cleaning up so the real sales guys can prosper, enough with the shady brokers and their pitch "take this mca now and in 30 days we do a consolidation"...sick of hearing merchants telling me this story...

from all the talks in the forums i was almost certainly expecting the narrator to ask the candidates at the debate to raise their hands on whose in opposition of the COJ (it seems like if the debate was 3 more minutes that question was for-sure going to come
