Recent S Corp Purchase
I have a client that recently did an S CORP purchase of a business that has been operating for 20 years. The bank accounts, ein and company name, client portfolio, location are all the same. He just took over the ownership 2 months back. I know certain lenders don't want to fund a new owner, but because everything in the company is literally the same and the business is running just as it has, i figured that might make a difference. What direct lenders wouldn't mind the recent ownership change?

Was the new owner working for the company prior to the purchase?

Merchant wasn't an employee before the purchase.
