Knight UCC / ZBL
I have a client who needs a ZBL from Knight ASAP.
He normally has everything on file, but I can't wait for him to find it.
Anyone have an email address on file for Knight to get a ZBL?

Getting in touch with Knight by phone is nearly impossible.

Knight doesn't do COJs.
The client rebranded and the old LLC was closed, so the UCC wasn't removed. He does not have the ZBL on file.
The currently MCA funder I want to fund today wants to know that Knight was paid. He may need to wait until Monday....

So after LinkedIn bombing all of them, Shawn Hasmi was the only one who responded to me. I emailed the rest with firstname.lastname@knightcapitalfunding.com (since that's the only email address I got of a real live rep!) and all except 2 bounced back.
On the portal, the "forgot password" has "security questions" that didn't show up.
Eventually I called their 855 number. While they don't pick up, at least pressing 1 for a callback, I got a callback in 5 minutes! The client called them, and they told me that they ZBL would be sent within 4-5 days (!)
At least I know a normal human being can reach them!

And so I called them, this time someone picked up!
They told me to have the client call in, and customer service can generate a new login to their portal.
The new funder is willing to use that as payoff information.
Let's see if it actually happens. I'll keep you all posted.

They have like 800 ISOs. People on here need to relax and understand to pay a rep to answer your every phone call would be unrealistic. Every ISO wants a "dedicated rep", but 99% wouldn't fund enough for origination fees to even pay their salary lol.

Update:
Their system has a non-finished payment in their books. That's why they can't generate the ZBL right away.
I wish the client would have just told me this up-front about the 3-4 day delay, is that they need to to clear things up as the lawyers are discussing that the $1500 balance from 2016 was due to an accounting error when the client got a $1500 prepayment discount and their system didn't register it.
Now, we'll see when the ZBL comes back what it says. Knight's office manager Claudia who answered the phone (and called me back when I pressed "1") was actually really very helpful to me and the new funder to get the ZBL. She told us "there's still a balance!" We then worked on the rest.
