    Letter of Credit

Are their particular banks that can put together letters of credit relatively quick? I know TD bank has a good process but are there any others?

Please note letters of credit aren’t the same as credit lines or business credit cards.

Depends on industry and use of letter of credit.

Industry is commercial laundry. The SBLC is there to ensure payment of invoices on NET 30 terms.

I would suggest trying some of the super regional banks in the market of the prospect. They tend to be more aggressive than the large money center banks like TD. SunTrust, PNC, BB&T, BankUnited, Commerica, etc....

Thanks Kevin. Do you use the retail side for this or do you have some inroads into wholesale? Retail drags with applications and f2f meetings making it difficult to maneuver.

I would find someone on the corporate bank team or commercial banking team in the client's market. The retail branch will slow you down.

MynameisBob- I am pretty sure Chris and the folks at Paragon do not offer these types of credit facilities.
