    Excessive negatives-Receives Insurance payments

    Hi,
I know some lenders love to see a merchant that receives insurance payments. I have a merchant that has excessive negatives. Is their anyone that will fund based off the insurance payments/ar?

FreeProcessing- Most finance companies avoid insurance receivables as it is tough to wrap your arms around the dilution. There are a few factoring companies around that finance healthcare related receivables. I will PM you the name of one in Florida.

the question is, if they are having cash flow issues and using every dime, and then some...how are they going to be able to afford an additional debit to their account?

Funds don't to be in the practice of chasing down bad payments

I was once told that they like it in case the merchant goes bust they are guaranteed to get the money back from the insurance payments. I could have been mislead. Regardless, thanks for the insight!

Chambo-I agree, but sometimes these companies are not getting enough liquidity and the payers are very slow. If you are billing $1Mil a month and your dilution is 30%, you would expect to collect $700K on the AR when you get it and it could very well take 60 days. That being said, small term note or advances won't work. They need to find a tradition revolving line or factor. Healthcare AR is tough to finance and slow to pay. Hence why we avoid it like the plague....pun intended!

Nah only churches. If they go bust you get to seize the church and the parishioners who pay a 10% holdback weekly for life.
