Rapid Delined a File because Merchant Failed Dec Logic

    Rapid Delined a File because Merchant Failed Dec Logic

    Has ANyone ever heard of this?

    Rapid apparently auto declining a File for Killing a Decision Logic link by failing 3 times.

    **Reason being there were several versions of her bank listed**

    Flagged as Fraud and Declined??? WHat is that?

    I routinely need new decision logic links requested because merchants are just not computer savvy, or the uppercase/lowercase debacle.

    I have seen this before but only from 1st position companies.

    This is dumb.

    Some banks just aren't compatible with dlgic and sometimes it just doesnt work.
    Perhaps they are only declining for the larger banks that are for sure supposed to work? Like Chase, key, boa, wf Etc.

    Looks like they have some new jacks there in UWing, who (as any newbie looking to impress the boss would) are going by the book and if they cannot obtain Dec Logic are declining the deal.

    Reach out to your ISO rep there and make a stink, you will probably get the deal revived with direct login or possibly with just MTD

    wow man,....not five minutes after I posted this, I got contacted and was given a more thorough explanation of what went down

    Who says DF isn't seriously viewed by many?

    1) was never flagged as fraud
    2) failed Dec Logic 4 times and refused to provide login or screen shot
    3) not declined,m just not moving forward until login/verification can be confirmed

    Dec Logic failed again today.....time to stop demanding something that isn't working with the bank and give them what they asked for

    They Have to be talking about a different deal, Im not demanding anything, I requested a New Dec Logic. And We are sitting down and doing it together later.

    Where did "Demanding" COme from?

    She sent me a screen shot, Rapid Never talked to her for her to refuse to send anything

    It has to be a different deal

    I was asking if Rapid declines deals based on failed Dec Logic, the short answer YES THEY DO

    As you suggested in your first post another link was issued.

    A screenshot was never asked for, rapid has yet to speak to the merchant. at all.

    Which is why I said Id gladly fwd you the thread with rapid

    The Rapid rep and I are good. Your posts are more Inflaming the situation at this point.

    Also for #1, the Rep said the term "Flagged as Fraud"
    All Rapids calls are rtecorded, so yea Thats easily proven.

    "The Underwriter Declined" The File.
    Was exactly what was emailed to me.

    Although.... I agree i think it is someone new and it wasnt explained properly, on hold until link is completed....is the result.

    ryan just get them log in and story is over. Almost all banks let you set up a view only accesses now that she can than change the password tomorrow

    I think the Terms that were used were not neccessarily the right ones. Instead of Declined i think, On Hold until completion of dec logic would have been better.

    In either case, the situation is fine, I love Rapid.... was just asking if anyone has experience this before. In reality, ON HOLD, i wouldnt have made the post. DECLINED, i went into an uproar, like whaaaatttt??? I think it was just a bad choice of words from them to me..... as its not declined. Pending dec logic.

    That is not the issue.

    I have a Time set up later to do it on the phone with Merchant, she will give me info. I plan to login to the bank, search around and find whatever subset of the Bank to select on dec logic and do it myself. We have an appoitnment later today.

    The situation is fine..... was just asking if anyone had seen this before becsause i never have

    yes i have gotten stupid declines when you have a stupid merchant. At some point lenders feel they are wasting their time and no longer want to deal with it. but all of those dumb decline when you get what they need they always flip it back to approve

    Decision Logic was Completed. Screen Share wasnt Needed. Just to Update EVeryone.

    Rapid wouldnt accept the UN/PW (Legal didnt want to be liable)

    But situation was rectified in any case.

    The TERM "Declined" Should not have been used by Rapid to describe anything.
