So I'm just catching up here. I don't know any of these parties but to recap:

1. Marcus posted one side of the conversation, which he thought was ok because the email didn't have the legal footer.
2. Marcus won't let the counterparty, Zev, post Marcus's email because Marcus's email has the legal footer?

Very shady to think you get to play by a different set of rules because of an email footer. Says a lot about a person.

correct and at this point you have to assume that the email response will make them look way worse so they rather not respond.
