They only pay 3%. So you be making a whopping 1.5%. Dumb question but why not just sign up with them directly?

Im not sctively submitting to them. This is really a one off. Maybe 4 in a year. Time is why, rather than have the guy wait to sign up with fundbox while i sign up, i already have merchant signing up.

they low ball on initial offer and there is no renewal comissions if you take the 3% upfront, you have to settle for 1.5% inital payment and get 1.5% residual... bluevine pays better and gives better offers.

Fundbox offers 2% residuals for the life of the client.
Bluevine offers 3% residuals for the life of the client.

Fundbox offers invoice financing (NOT factoring), so the offers may be higher than Bluevine, but the usage is a bit different. No bank statement login is needed to qualify, which means even stacked merchants can qualify. In fact, to get their LOC, the merchant has to be directed accurately to the right place on the website!

Fundbox never files UCCs and officially no minimum credit score, no max position.
Bluevine files UCCs, will only go to 3rd position (SBA -> one MCA -> Bluevine at most), and has 62 minimum credit score.

Fundbox is faster for approvals, that's for sure. But they're 100% computer-driven algorithm to underwrite, no human underwriters at all.

After 30 approved files, Fundbox's approvals are increased to 3%.

Advantages and disadvantages to both.... gotta know your funding source, know your merchant.

Fundbox = Simple interest, 12-24 weeks
Bluevine = Amortized, 26-52 weeks with monthly options, too

Oh, and Steven, they no longer offer the 5% of all funded deals within the first 90 days. And they increased from 1% residuals to 2%.

ryan $ - It looks like we work with you and Andre at JD, but we haven't done much business together. Happy to chat more live, if you think it would be helpful.

We beat Fundbox on everything (except for maybe pure speed) for LOCs >$35,000. I constantly get the feedback that Fundbox is great for super fast micro-deals, which isn't an area that we excel at (or necessarily want to excel at).
