Why do so many brokers pretend to be funders? Additionally, what is this? https://axemca.com/2014/02/14/be-my-guest-concert/

Most of us brokers or marketplace lending are good at taking the deal to the right lender.
If we are good about our job then we don't market the deal (send it to everyone in our data list) we actually work the deal for the client to hopefully reduce the clients time on having to resubmit documents again and again.
And yes our business names sound like lenders, and some lenders will lend on the deals they want and broker the deals that do not fit their criteria.

We are both a broker and a marketplace. The difference is - a market place has specific lenders that are vetted to do certain deals with us to make it clear and fast. Broker is when we have lenders that we will match the deal with because they specialize in that type of deal, but we might not use them every week or month.
Plus a broker could have hundreds of Lenders in their database that wants the business.
Hopefully every broker is doing their due diligence on who they have on their list before they send a deal to.
