    Docusign Applications

    Hi Guys!

I have decided to use fully docusign applications for my sales team. No more sending PDF! Most of the funders doesn't accept Adobe signature or digital signature unless it's from premium sign vendor with IP etc.

Initially I will be using for 3 people. Which vendor would be best?

    1. Docusign
    2. RightSignature
    3. Digisigner

I've been using DigiSigner, it's been accepted everywhere I've submitted. Audit Trail included in the PDF, unlimited sends, very cheap, 5th seat is free. Upload with fill-in PDF fields and it reads them.

Biggest qualms with it are the inability to upload a document and send it to many people. Once it's there, you can't "copy" a file - you have to manually upload each time. I can create a "TEMPLATE" that I can apply when I upload a new document, but that's annoying. I'd like to have a template to be able to send again and again.

Whatever you do, you can always have each member of the team use a different one and see what works best. They all have free or trial versions.

There are bunch more, like Hello Sign. Endless options out there.....

Oh, I'm really thinking about using Sign Request. Has all the features I want, but it doesn't read the PDF fields I already have.

Do you mean a way for a client to upload attachments right to the application? Yes, there is. And you can create "signing links" so that anyone you give the link to (perfect for email campaigns and websites) gets a fresh version of the document to complete and sign.

Docusign is great but they are expensive. We are probably going to change just because these other companies have caught up and now there isnt that much of a difference.. 2-3 years ago none of these other companies weren't even close to what docusign can do.

It all depends on how much you plan to scale. If you plan on using analytics, APIs and all that, the best are Docusign or Adobe E-sign. Both start at about $25-50 a month (with a catch: if you send over 100 envelopes a year, they’re going to tell you that you’re violating your terms of service). At that point you’re going to have to up to $2,500-3,000 a year. Enterprise level becomes more expensive. I personally think it’s well worth it.

But if you’re only going to send out a couple applications a day, all those other services seem perfectly fine.

do you have a rep there? i got quoted the 40 per user and than $4 per envelope over the 100 per year . that will wind up costing me 15-20k a year .

I've been using it for over a week and I'm loving it. The price vs the seamless factor and convenience make it a product that's well worth it's weight in gold. I haven't had any other services, so all I can speak on is Docusign. It's been great.

Wow. Got to stress to them that you’ll literally only be sending out the one single document over and over, and not tons of different docs.

WestCoast, I send out all kinds of stuff all the time to people
ISO agreements between me and funder, my broker-to-broker ISO agreements,

For example, a funder just yesterday required a "Resolution of the Board" for a NFP that I tried funding. I didn't want to stip them for it, so I went ahead and created it myself, then sent for the signature.

Apparently, one owner wasn't enough - they needed them all. So I sent the document out to the rest of the board, adding in 2 more places on the document for the other signatories. CEO didn't need to resign, since it was all through DigiSigner's portal, I just sent to the other ones with additional fields.

Did the same with the Articles. Had them all sign it.

Many of the options above may have trouble sending on the free plans to send a document for more than 1 signatory.

(end of story: My funder explained that they wanted a NOTARIZED resolution. Since there was no COJ, I was upset, but requested. That killed it - they didn't have time for a notary. And they had another offer from CFG that Lior so kindly told me, "We have this from another broker."

They went back to CFG who killed it in final underwriting due to fraud - they were manufacturing deposits. Garbage. Next)
