Bottom line. If a deal could be funded. Lead seller or Lead company or not, they would find a way to fund it. Some* would Hook onto a Real Funder or even a broker/iso like me to pass it off and get the piece of the pie in the form of commission $$ not $ 55
Data Sellers are usually genuine, some lead sellers do not want to deal with the drama associated to funding and the merchants who lie... but let the buyer beware on someone selling "complete lead packages" "non exclusive"
And if you are good in sales it takes about 5-10 interrogation questions to find out the data you are looking for in those packages.
You can call any business and just ask them ( if they will talk to you)
( this is why the cold call prospecting off the top is Key*)
how many cash advances do you have with balances on them
What are the current balances
How much money do you want, what is it for, and when
