Um...no If you don't like the rent you are paying find another option. Renting is what it is....you don't own anything. Much like leasing or renting a car......you don't own it. If you don't like the payment....find an alternative.

my point was i understand we have regulators that look to red-tape industries yet no one seems to be looking at the largest and harmful trap to Americans!!

Marcus...paying rent for a dwelling or a business is driven by the economy and market. The rent for a home in Riviera Beach is much different than rent for a home in El Cid. Renting by the way is somewhat regulated. Some developments are required to have subsidized renters or an allotment for Section-8 housing. NY is rent controlled along with a lot of other major cities. Your case about protecting the poor renter makes no sense.
Again...if you can't afford the rent...move. I would not want anyone coming into my neighborhood saying "Hey...can I rent that house that has a couple of commas in the price tag for $1000/month because America is screwing the renter..... Um...Hell No!Kevin Henry
