To be bit more precise, the team that consists of:
1 - VP of Sales (team lead)
    1 - Manager level
    8 - AE / Sales

And, what monthly funding volume for AE (w/ base salary of $36k) should be promoted to the next level position such as Sr. AE (with higher salary)?

Can anyone share your own thoughts?
i am not sure why we are even discussing funding volume unless you syndicate . The only discussion is pr to the company .we all have made at times more on a 50k deal than on a 500k deal .
if Archie numbers are going on an average of 10% pr than i agree . cold calling ucc should produce 10-15k a month for a typical rep . If you do marketing or buy better leads than way more than that .

because funding volume is how a closer is judged.. How much did they fund and what is their average upsell. Only 2 questions I need answered to judge a closer

OP you are correct, this thread will provide a lot of information that you would need to help formulate this decision: https://dailyfunder.com/showthread.p...Funding-Volume

If I were you I would try a combination of paid employees and commission employees, to test out various structures before finalizing on what your "secret sauce" will be going forward. Each shop is different. Some are small 1 to 5 man shops, some are 10 man shops, some just do MCA programs, some do a variety of funding programs, some also incorporate processing, POS Systems, and other programs on the side.

Try out a couple of different structures to determine what works for your shop. I would start out in a smaller capacity though before ramping up to anything significant, to keep costs managed.
