how are clawbacks being handled on all this daily funding. a % of those deals have to head into default land. are your brokers paying them back?

If you did get a clawback. the money would be taken directly from your bank account from the funders...automatic debit.
The Broker who you gave the commission to will be looooooooooong gone and you will never see it again.
That why some of these slick willies send bad deals to some Isos...they do not want the liability under their name and will skip off to the next iso.
Bad Brokers make a living sticking the isos/funders and moving on to the next....I watched them torch many Isos.. not many left standing in Tampa/ St Pete
I can see them coming...hard to not yell or just toss them face first out of the office lol
Anyone saying ..scorpion and the frog to me might have tried it and drowned
So I sit back and watch the bad funders and bad brokers con each other...its like a bad movie in slow motion
Add ** For this reason alone anyone who ever thought that Isos could stay alive with all the costs and risks associated to it making 2-3 points...has no clue and will be out of business or went outLast edited by Karen37a; 07-11-2018 at 02:17 PM. Reason: add **

And Marcus and anyone else saying snide things
When I got stuck on a deal cant fund...d minus paper ..guy is making 800k a month ...in business 7 years
I was told no no no no no
So I said "let me call Anthony and Yellowstone, they will help me"
And they did...200k...
betcha bottom dollar it renews at Christmas time ...so i can buy a boat
I do not take A paper in there...but there are deals that fit a certain category for me...ethically.. nice to have them fund quickly
( and I don't like being stacked, I know they won't stack me or try to because basically thats my renewal)Last edited by Karen37a; 07-11-2018 at 12:25 PM.

And the best part of those days when I first started.
I left my book of business behind, honored my non compete agreement, that was all new business I wrote... and never looked back

I like Marcus... I asked him to ask the Iso to pay someone so they pay me and he said no and wouldnt give up the name of the iso.
( I traced it anyway)
I didn't think it would be so hard to make someone be honourable... call the iso to say...pay the stinking $300 .
So Marcus didn't do it...this iso did...and it was a big hoopla ( that didn't spill out onto the df untill now lol)
That $300 dollar was a broker on my team's money...I had to look them in the face and say...they are not paying?
I would have just given them $300 and they wouldn't have known where it came from
And that's why those brokers wanted to be on my team, but I do not want some of them near me anymore...they learned bad habits from the 1st iso

Having 1099 vs W/2 brokers also cuts down on this excessive bad paper.
W/2 brokers have to hit quotas to get their paycheck and sometimes just send in files or leads to hit the quota.
1099 learn to not waste their time because if it doesn't fund you are not getting paid.
if they are good they will learn to qualify with underwriting in mind right from the 1st phone call.
Especially when an Iso is going thru that paperwork and are live with them holding training meetings to cut back on bad files.
And if a rep or funder is making a piece of the pie ( a small one) I know they are going to go thru hell and high water to help me get my file funded...so when people are saying "salaried" it turns me offLast edited by Karen37a; 07-11-2018 at 04:28 PM.

Hi Karen,
Do you still use Funders Cloud?
-
07-11-2018, 04:43 PM #11Karen37aGuest
no...only used it in the beginning..hard to control the files and as you see it caused a fight between Marcus and I.
The people who run it are nice but your file will be shotgunned out...hard to control backdooring...not on fc part but the brokers /funders who got it
ps shot gunning out is like brokers sending the file to 15 people...same effect
( I think they narrowed down the funders and people they send it to...not sure about it 100%)Last edited by Karen37a; 07-11-2018 at 04:48 PM.

IMO, brokers using a online lead aggregator to get offers or close deals doesn't make sense. there are a few other companies that are trying to be like lending tree and claim they have these automated risk models to match the funder and merchant, but, isn't that what a broker does? They all use the same top A funders for their lists typically as well most are signed up with. If your trying to build a book, go direct and keep control of it as best as you can. There is already enough chaos as is without adding another layer to the mix

I agree.
Thats why I used them when I was over run with applications day 2 in business and thought that I would rather have some commission with the risk of losing renewals than none. I also didnt know who to trust coming from a bad expereince
( and people have yelled backdoored on this site more than enough)
also....merchants sometimes like the individual broker and move with them over a slight reduction in rate..personal choiceLast edited by Karen37a; 07-11-2018 at 06:32 PM.

You cant see the funders name ...one funder use to say
"cheerio" to me when they declined the file... I think i typed back..."do NOT say CHEERIE O to me again" give me the reason why
they typed back "cheerio" ...i called FC saying whoever the heck is saying cheerio o, tell him toodle OO because I am never sending files again lol
off to close files
Cheerio

Logged in to praise Anthony from Yellowstone and the job he does. I also have to defend Marcus "don't hate the player hate the game". I've seen Mantis grow into what it is now with Marcus being a big part of that along the way, using the tools available to him.

Thank you for the love everybody.
Marcus- keep up the great work.
Now back to promoting me on my thread: ISOs that have larger files that need same day funding, aggressive offers, flexibility in terms, lower than average Yellowstone fees, fewest stips and least amount of back and forth requesting additional stips that weren't asked of you initially, please feel free to give me a call.

Ill bring the music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKqV7DB8Iwg
Sales Closers song
In this context, there's no disrespect, so
When I bust my rhyme, you break your necks
We got five minutes for us to disconnect
From all intellect collect the rhythm effect
Obstacles are inefficient, follow your intuition
Free your inner soul and break away from tradition
Coz when we beat out, girl it's pullin' without
You wouldn't believe how we wow **** out
Burn it till it's burned out
Turn it till it's turned out
Act up from north, west, east, south
Everybody, everybody, let's get into it
Get stupid
Get it started, get it started, get it started
Let's get it started (ha), let's get it started in here
Let's get ill, that's the deal
At the gate, we'll bring the bud top drill (just)
Lose your mind this is the time
Y'all test this drill, just and bang your spine (just)
Bob your head like me APL de, up inside your club or in your Bentley
Get messy, loud and sick.
Y'all mount past slow mo in another head trip (so)
Come then now do not correct it, let's get ignant let's get hectic
Everybody, everybody, let's get into it
Get stupid
Have a great weekend...get ready for Monday
