I fully agree with karen here. I saw a post on LinkedIn recently of someone who was fired from his job for not producing, went to work for the right people and did like 100k of pr in his first month.

You just have to get used to taking on the phone and have a reason...something they want to talk to you about

Not the standard your file came across my desks or hi I am calling to see if you are in need of working capital?

Can you imagine getting 20-30 of these a day with mca brokers with different accents ...some more aggressive than others?

You have to lead them thru consultative selling...be nice ( that's different) and not just throw out industry jargon terms "vertical"" box" " algorithms"

put yourself in their shoes...how would you want to be treated...what would you want to know, can you trust the person.

You have to gain trust...#1 thing to do....emails /VMS do not gain trust. ..SEO doesn't gain trust that's why certain funders are bashing brokers calling us boiler room

    he is clueless

There's nothing wrong with leaving a voicemail. Every contact with a merchant (whether it be a phone call, text, email, voicemail or smoke signal) is a possible opportunity. Sales is a numbers game so even if leaving a voicemail only gives you a 1 in 1,000 chance of closing a deal, you still want to go for it. That deal can be a six figure whale that makes your quarter!

Of course, try to leave a message that shows a little thought. Generic and boring messages are quickly deleted.

No there is nothing wrong with leaving a voice mail...but some people should have some balls and go balls to the wall and get the merchant on the phone live( like stockbrokers do,not ex used car sales people or real estate) , because once the merchants hear your voice mail you will never get in contact with them again...they will block your number. You burnt the leads so keep on chugging

So go big or go home..or dont

you are correct but it takes alot of time getting them on the phone vs banging away 30-50 calls and then waiting on them to call you !

Calling me day in day out ..make more calls

I am not going to teach competition...have at it

I am not talking about leaving a voice message when owner does not pick up... I am talking about a strategy to call (example) Roofing companies after hours and leaving 100 messages and then wait for the next day for calls to start pouring in....

    Crappy, generic voicemail message:

Hello John, this is Archie and I'm with Jumpstart Capital. We specialize in financing for small businesses and we have very competitive rates. Please call me back at 800-123-1234 for a free, no-obligation quote!

    Good voicemail message (industry specific):

Hello John, this is Archie and I'm with Jumpstart Capital. You and I haven’t spoken yet, but I’ve been doing some research on your company and I think you’re a great fit for our financing program for general contractors. Our clients include (list some companies they might be familiar with) and I know this would work for you as well. Believe me, it will be worth a 5 minute phone call to find out why. Please do me a favor when you get this message and call me back at 800-123-1234. Again, that number is 800-123-1234. I look forward to speaking with you and I guarantee you'll be glad you returned this call.

This is great and one more thing...once they hear "capital"" funding" they tune out to the message or hit delete and never listen to the balance like charlie browns teacher...wa wa wa wa.

so say the message and grab their attention "call to action" then at the end or middle ....say xyz capital

they pick up ...blah blah call to action ...slap hug, call to action...eduction...trust...curiosity close...pre-qualify..consultative pull....name of company. Its like a flow chart for. computers

if yes then this if no then this.

I wrote it out this way a longgg time ago coming out of college ..computer science

add**And we make alot of money. Stand up and bang out the phone...dial 150-200 dials...follow up build a pipeline, get renewals. Or dont and leave the phone to the few that are left...less competition

We have some prize winning vm drops, I have a number you can call to hear them, it's 1 900-dumb-leads.

All the 800 numbers were taken so we used 900, just answer yes to all the prompts and make sure you stay on for at least 5 minutes,
just to verify you're a good human. The longer you stay, the more you'll get out of the call.

They may ask for a digit code followed by an expiration date, but no worries that’s just for authentication purposes.

On a less humorous note, the tcpa does not forbid automated voicemails, and while dumbleads.com has its own proprietary app to that generates brick and mortar merchants on the fly, most of what Ryan said is on the money.

A top level closer can probably beat any marketing tool, but a top level closer can only talk to one person at a time; we’d rather have 500 engagements, even if half are dumb conversations, at the same time. That can be scaled and that’s what telemarketers are for, God bless em.

Do a 3rd AND STILL do the Renewal and add ons, thats what i dont get - I have one merchant we put 4 positions on after he already had a 1st. Total of 5. And all 4 we put on just renewed him. In reverse, the 5th, 4th 3rd and finally the 2nd just renewed.

This isnt swift where if a merchant stacks he isnt elidgible for renewal. if they are perfect payers they renew, period

But its Friday - 5pm...checking out, Enjoy your weekend Karen..

I do not want to stack to infnity ..the same reason why I didnt want to steal some poor schlub in idahos investment money for a rip

I do not actually believe in debt..i think its a necessary evil and if manages correctly business can expand.

I have the ability to stack everyone...you are giving money away, it isnt that hard...I can wait 3 weeks for a renewal I am not going to die...and i can find other clients while I am waiting.

the Story goes haywire when the funder tries to take the renewals I was waiting on. i strike back. I do not like to be punished for being ethical

    Have fun this weekend
