Don't drag me into your mess...first off I am out the tampa bay area not tampa..one office is in Tampa the other st pete and I am from the north shore of long island.
And your friend Shannon asked to speak with me...she seemed nice so I did.
I do not care what you do...I know more about Financial Services than you will ever know and I know this, anyone who sends something to someone who doesn't have a parent company or won't give up the name of the parent company then has their paycheck fed exed is nuts.
Leave me out of your scam. And if it isn't a scam you have ZERO presentation skills

Kit Menkin, creator/publisher of Leasing News...of which I've followed since I began my career in Equipment Leasing would probably be interested in this.. but I highly doubt he and his group are aware of this particular program. I can say in my copier sales and leasing days, I worked for Danka, and we offered rebates on the left over/prior generation models as a buying incentive.
Dan's rebate program is similar, although the primary objective is to get much need capital into the hands of struggling merchants that are terribly over leversged/stacked. It works and most of the folks I explain it to are on board and see it for what it's worth.Shannon Harris

As long as the judgement hasn't yet been reported to D&B and there aren't any collections or past due trade lines it should get approved. Pretty much every business has a D&B whether they know it or not.. and have creditors reporting on their behalf. Surprisingly, many top rated businesses have or have had an MCA.

That sort of hurt me... since I certainly no such intentions. You gave me a number and the name Elizabeth to call about a real estate hard money connection. To my surprise you answered.. this program couldn't have been further from my mind when we spoke late last week. Are you okay?

Why in the F are you being so combative?!?! I hope this won't initiate another strike from you.. but here goes nothing.
D&B is one of the original business credit reporting services.. D&B captures a new businesses info when that business registers to be corp, LLC or other entity type. Yes, it's true a business can voluntarily sign up.. but it's also true that they can be unknowingly added into their data base. D&B would love it if every business signed up.. but that's not how they get most of their data. If a business wants to have more accurate financial data reported, then yes, they need to sign up or claim ownership to the business that D&B has info on..
Try to stay calm.Shannon Harris

Dan, you have a lot of anger and resentment against the MCA space and/or brokers from your posts. Make's no sense to promote in this forum with that attitude. the broker, who you are trying to get to refer on this site, makes a living selling MCAs, whether broker's sell first position or stack. you have to learn to be humble to ask for business from others. that's a basic trait of a business development professional.

It's not about being stupid or desperate.. I was simply vouching for the truth. I know it works and it's legit.. Just like you said, you only work with a handful of lenders and that's that.. if your deals don't qualify with them.. then that's that. If you are satisfied with that effort, then so be it. I on the other hand will go the extra 100 miles to help a client and monetize a lead.. I don't earn anything by vouching for this program on here.. it's not always about that.. and for some ungodly reason, you have this notion that I'm after you.. now that I think about it.. you do try to make everything about you.. so I digress.. ya might want to lighten up.. the stress is evidently getting to you.

I was actually replying to Sean Bash (forgot to hit reply with quote).
[I see. Let's forget about the "equipment" for a minute. I'm putting it in quotes on purpose. There are lessors who will write a deal just based off a D&B and Paynet report up to 100k?
And if I ask the people over at LeasingNews about this system, what will they tell me?]Shannon Harris

Hi fundingsmbs.
I do apologize for losing my cool. Let me make it clear though: I do not have any resentment towards brokers in the MCA space. 6 years ago I started out as a broker in the MCA space, and it was tough then. Now the industry is so saturated that many of you, unless you have a loyal client or clients, have to go way down in your commission to compete, and then from what I hear you even have some funders backdooring you, which is atrocious.
I totally understand just how hard it is to get business and also how difficult it can be to keep a loyal client base when 1000 brokers and even funders are calling them each month from UCC lists, trying to steal them away. The MCA business is very cut throat and its worse now then ever before.
As far as being humble I don't do to well at that. Honestly my wife is a saint for putting up with my arrogance sometimes. I can be a totally obnoxious prick.
As far as people being suspicious, I understand that also. I am suspicious. In the past 3 years I have been burned. One instance was with a sleazy MCA broker who apparently told 3 of his over stacked clients that they should take the lease rebate deal because they wouldn't have to pay by claiming identity theft. Well obviously those claims did not spare any of the clients businesses from getting judgments and one client got jammed up personally because they stuck to their lies and actually used the same email to claim identity theft when communicating with the bank that they used to docusign the lease docs. Sheer genius that is.
But in the end it ruined my relationship with a good vendor (my only one at the time) and it deeply affected the vendor's credibility with the bank. So pardon me if I don't give a crap ton of info on my company on this forum.
I know that the majority of people on this forum are hard working and decent, but there are also scammers and low lives seeking how they can screw somebody over either for a buck or out of envy. This is not speculation. Like I said, I was screwed over by a buddy buddy broker who I did nothing for but try to help.
Again, I apologize to Karen and to West Coast Funding. No excuses on my part. You guys are trying to squeeze me to see if money comes out or if a stinky brown substance excretes instead. So I understand. And some of your questions are legitimate. I just refuse to answer because I really don't have to. I answer the really important ones for most people and I have way more references than just the 2 senior members of the forum who know I am not full of crap. And because I refuse to answer you do have a right to mistrust me if you choose.
As for Shannon (SBF). Shannon took a chance with us and she found us to be of high integrity in business, and she was financially rewarded for stepping out, and I am sure that she will be more in the future. As for (ABfunder) Micah, he took a chance also and has not gotten burned.
I hope that my response has been helpful.

Broker: Dan from the internet!

"What company will be providing funding?"
WCF, what broker answers that question on the first call? Or even a 2nd call? Why can't you just give them a half-truth. There are several outlets we use who fund, it depends on what's in stock.... What do you do in the case that a merchant asks that same question about an MCA?
This is a classic "straw man" criticism. Any salesman worth his hoot can deflect that question. And besides, before the call, you merge Dan onto the call and he'll take over.
Where did you get so much assumed beef with this program and how much time do you have on your hands that you spent so long describing a conversation that will never happen?
