Wow, not a lot of deal flow, huh? Maybe you should let your people go home early tonight instead.

What's the difference between Mantis and Cresthill and do either send files to other funders?

As far as I know they're the same company and are very upfront about it. If they don't think they'll come in aggressively on a first position, they'll send to one other funder, with your permission.

As much as everybody loves to rag on Marcus, I personally love working with Mantis/Cresthill. Very transparent for such a high risk lender and I never have those problems others speak of about not getting calls or emails returned. Whether its a 5k or a 50k deal, they treat them all the same with the same urgency to fund.

Yep they are very good they lock themselves to their ISO's 12 hours a day and they advocate very aggressively to the underwriters to get deals funded quick and for the max amounts!!

getting a quick offer and getting a quick close are two different stories. there's 10+ people CC'd on the contract requests at mantis with all the underwriters over there, the contracts came late at 5 or 6 pm on Friday, with an error to boot... so mantis holds up my little 10k contracts on a border line deal at 6pm on Friday only to find the merchant is funded 12k by EBF Monday morning... walks like a duck quacks like a duck , i won't catch it the day of or complain about it but when i get the banks next month i know what happened

For a company that is supposedly one of the largest, they do not invest any money into some technology like everyone else is doing . The email cc of 10 people is ridiculous. Also 3 hours is only fast if they are real offers and half of them do not get killed after signed docs . With that said for the subprime trucking you are the best.
Mr Clapman it is time to invest in some mantis reps to help mantis client and not have the need to get a cresthill rep and added on fees.

Don you seem like a nice guy ... but you just said this on another post

The issue is your relationships are weak, so don't get mad when your girl cheats on you, step your game up, build up a larger network and find a new real relationship with new people who haven't cheated on you in the past... stop falling for the same lies and deceptions and then act surprised when your girl is still a *****. 2 cents
now you think someone stole from you and you are sending them another file

i operate in the high risk space, and we get plenty of deals done everyday in house and out with alot of major players and some lesser known. the deal i was referencing was a very specific deal that had multiple layers to it... not a small 10k merchant, it was a 10k deal tho, the deal was lost on my end, partially my fault no doubt, i'll take that L, it was passover week and i was a handling alot on my own while my partners were out... maybe it should have never gone to mantis in the first place. in any event it highlighted a problem here which we all could benefit from bringing up, if you operate in high risk space, on the contract requests and closing stips, be secure and tight nit... so i decided to share because i respect Mantis and Marcus enough to say something. most of the funders on here i wouldn't ever acknowledge. maybe the man in charge will take some consideration to the issue of possible leaks after contracts are requested.... by the way the merchant has been bouncing his daily payments to EBF all month long.. the full time underwriter (part time broker) knew what he was doing here
