It's just me, but I have never really liked that "Michael O'Hare" guy from Blind Bid. Guy just rubs me the wrong way and the data he is selling isn't something I would personally entertain.

His article was nothing but a subliminal ad to buy one of his "lists".

The reality is that, for now at least, unsolicited cold calling to business landlines is legal. When a prospect tells you to take them off the list and don't call back, you must honor it immediately. All other unsolicited cold-calling is either illegal based on the regulations or "tricky" at best, and that includes:

- Unsolicited cold calling to residential homes (illegal)

- Unsolicited cold calling or texting to consumer cell phones (illegal)

- Unsolicited cold calling or texting to business cell phones (tricky)
