i dont think you can anymore. With that said, the state of CA is just ruthless. They just milk you dry on ever part of this license.
$800 tax filing fee.
I was supposed to file llc renewal with the state board. Never got any info about this. Was a $20 filing fee. I then got a letter stating I was delinquent by 1 week, they fined me $250.

I don't know what you mean by the "best" Cali deals, but we can get Cali deals done without you being licensed. Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance here.

As I stated in previous posts Calif is a tough tough state on licensing
You need a compliance officer in place sometimes and they do have mandatory audits ...every 2-3 years
( and they do not want you there and you will see shortly with fines, class action etc, gl imo )
Not worth it to me...too many other states.

Like Anthony said, us here at YSC have no issue getting the deals done in CA. I will be the first to admit that CA is more difficult than other states but we haven't had any problems after jumping through their hoops.
