Typical marketing mix from my experience are a combination of the following:

    -UCC
    -Transfers
    -Radio
    -Direct Mail
    -SEO
    -Press 1's
    -Email Marketing
    -Online (Lendio, ect.)

What you can convert the best depends upon your approach and your business model.

From my experience, besides transfers, all of those other approaches have been ineffective in today's market.

It all depends on the sales approach taken. I have seen success with all those different types of leads. That said each lead is a different type of sale because you are reaching the merchant a different way. A good mix of all those stated is good but definitely remember to adjust the sales approach accordingly

I think it depends on how you run your shop and how many employees you have. Those 2 things will dictate how you should market. If you're a smaller shop the press 1's aren't as effective as if you have a lot of people on the phones. Direct Mail is good if you know how to do it, UCC's are always an ok time filler. Online is competitive and you need larger spends now to generate anything good. Those are just some examples of why I said it depends on how you run your shop and how many employees you have. While all of the options are good (some better than others) a mix of all may not work for you. Just my 2 cents.
