Decorum for the Forum
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have been a member of this forum for quite some time and have had an opportunity to meet some truly great loan advisors/brokers and have closed a few deals with some. I came to this forum in efforts to network and get to know some new loan advisors/brokers. I have always conducted myself in a professional manner albeit I will take a swipe at someone if deserved.
Lately the forum has become a daily street fight. Can we please have some decorum on the forum? If you don't like someone....block them. If you have an issue with someone, call them first. If a person is blocked by enough people that act professionally on the forum, I am sure the ADMIN will act appropriately.
Best,
KevinKevin Henry

I know Kevin, I just don't understand why somebody would use an alias.. like we discussed earlier - especially in this sector there should be complete transparency, when they don't use a signature and when they use aliases should be red flags to all the lenders they're dealing with..

Why must you constantly post about "karen/Elizabeth", then ask why I am talking about myself all the time??
For the 100th time. I was working for someone and I joined the DF to see what was going on in the industry....because there are so many people who "backdoor" I thought ( being from the financial industry) it wouldnt be best to come on as myself....I would have been fired instantly.
I did not backdoor them BUT the day I left or week I left I created an LLC and already had my future partners mentally planned out...it was an incognito exit plan( I hadnt talked to anyone live yet)...they were going to be bought out by BFS and they really didn't give a crap where I went, I was only there for a few months. When I LEFT. i CALLED THEM and said ...this is the name of my new company..I am karen...i won't take my deals with me and honor my non compete ...the rest are up for grabs....and that was that .
I do not have a need for nasty disgusting brokers to follow me around, because I know from being in finance since the Venture Capital days, that when people cant make it in the industry they do not leave gracefully. They blame everyone and everything around them ( experienced people know this as well ).. a few isos had someone do something criminal to them on exit.Even one being assassinated.
Also, I think some of the merchants are nasty and will sell out anyone and anything to get money...and I say it in these posts. It's not the greatest marketing tool to tell your merchants " I know you are a scm bag or have a 50% chance of being one...do business with me"
( even though I do tell the merchants that in real life to explain why the rates are so high...but then I say ...not you of course)
If I do not want to market to newbies on the Daily funder...who only posted their deals on the deal bin because NO ONE else wants them. That's my choice. I came on here to meet FUNDERS to partner with and see who is who.
I have learned a lot
And I can get attention like this in real life as well...another reason to not come out of the gate blazing... I knew what would happen from past experience good and badLast edited by Karen37a; 12-19-2017 at 04:56 PM.
