    Post Press "1" campaigns feedback

I'm looking at investing in this system Merchant Prospector to do press 1 transfers. Sales dude says to expect 1 transfer for every 100 calls, this system dials 10,000 a day. I watched the demos and it seems pretty cool. He also provides the lists for calling..The investment is $297 and $97 monthly. I looked at voicebroadcasting.com and for 5000 calls and they provide list, it's a flat 250 bux. I'm wondering the following:

Does anyone currently use these types of campaigns?
How is it working for you?
Is the cost of the Merchant Prospector comparable to others?

    Thanks for your feedback!

Does the $97 include unlimited usage of the system or do you still get charged per minute, etc...?

I can't tell you what kind of success you'll experience overall but expect A LOT of the people that press 1 to do so only to curse you out or demand they be taken off the list.

    Questions I'd ask:

    1. How many customers do you have?
    2. How many leads are they generating?
    3. What states are you dialing?
    4. What industries?
    5. What times of day?
    6. What's the average call length?

These questions amongst others will help you quantify the relative value of this service.

I'm friends with the lady who owns the cafe where our company was born, and we have laughed about this. She gets an average of 12 robo dials for funding and merchant processing per week, and auto hangs up.

Also - if people were in the market for money, why would they wait for you to robo dial them?

Doubt it. She knows how and where to contact me. If she does enter the market and does so without asking me for help, I quit. Cold. Off to Costa Rica to play online poker for a living.

Maybe in this instance but other merchants that aren't friendly with marketing guys would. Yes they get lots of these calls and yes MCA guys still convert these leads everyday into funded contracts.
