I bet they could now hire his replacement Piers Morgan for 1/2 on every deal. He is looking for work.

I love how clear the difference is between those in this industry that think they are the "movers and shakers" of things beating up UCC lists and stacking 3-5 times, and then there are other companies hiring Larry f'ing King as their spokesman. These companies are using technology and analytics to find their demographic and are reaching the masses in ways others couldn't even think existed. I'm not saying anything is wrong with the former, just that the latter is clearly where things are going and if I were the former I'd really be thinking about my future.

There are some big funders collaborating on the Larry King project. It's part of a nationwide campaign that will be on radio, print and TV. There are some smart minds behind this that will take MCA to a whole new level.

Larry King - MCA Salesman
This marketing company that contracted Larry has a $175m marketing budget I have been told by insiders.

Is lendvantage a lead/marketing company selling off these leads or a funder/broker?

I don't understand why they chose an 80 year old - with all due respect to Larry King. Marcus Lemonis (CNBC "The Profit") may have been perfect for this... Or anyone affiliated with Shark Tank.
Also - not a single GREAT / big company has started with a "big marketing budget." Including market leaders in this space.
In fact, I'm struggling to find an instance where a company has entered a market with a "great big marketing budget" and won that market. Can anyone point one out?

Larry King has great business credibility and is instantly recognizable among all age groups. The other people you've mentioned are not nearly as well known, especially among the baby boomer crowd.

I hear you. However, he's 80... Larger point is most big budgeted companies who have entered markets have failed. Barnes and Noble vs Amazon comes to market. Hell Uber is dominating taxi service with literally no marketing budget.
Edit: Speaking of the devil.

This is a bait and switch company, all day long. Play with the calculator on their site.

Lendvantage is a lead aggregater not a lender or ISO!
They generate then sell applications to lending institutions.

Speaking of Shark Tank...
hey Sean,
I remember total merchant resource pitched and I believe gave up 50 percent stake for a silly dollar amount (Well lowballed). An ex Collegue went to work over there in Jersey and haven't heard anything from or about TMR since. Did that deal ever come to fruition? Or was it more a strategic marketing and advertising ploy? As you see, IOU seems to have their hands in all the leads generated through shark tank one due to their spokesman!
