Thats if you are a strong enough salesperson to pick up on the clue.

** now it might have happened for real, who knows

But if it did happen....you tell Mr Big tough business owner..."that's the first phone call you ever received for funding? Why are you telling me about it...tell them you are working with someone."

disclaimer *** I once told this Bosnian guy " tell the brokers who are calling you to F off " ( he kept calling me crying thru the close saying he is getting 100 phone calls)

THEN it came down to the merchant call and he told the underwriter, or person doing the call to f off....They called me saying "your merchant doesn't want the money anymore he told us to f off"

I said ...I told him to say that because he was getting hounded with calls, he does want the money

They said "funny, have him call back and don't do that again". lol

PS...The 100 phone calls were sometimes coming from the Funder that I was closing thru...I was holding on thru the close, blocking an inside broker from calling and drop closing( rate) and backdooring me. ( I became a master of recognizing this and holding on thru the close)

I am calling saying " are you going to make the merchant call soon" ...daysssssssssss went by...I held onto that deal like my life depended on it ( and others)

( the dead stall in underwriting counter move 101)

    Funded

Then you step back and say " was it worth it and do I ever want to send a deal again...no"

To the Good brokers out there...keep pressing and play this song at a team party when a few more go out of business.

Big players do not have to make a living backdooring, it's a piker move. Like forced defaults/debt relief and stacking all on the same day.

Too much drama...Heres the crazy part

95% of brokers are going to quit....so why to steal from the 5%?...the others are leaving the deals behind.( I said this 2 years ago..i said look around most will not be here)

Always have been ...always will be. lead leads leads....few strong closers

That person is watching their number pop up...I bet if you call them saying " howdy , id like a cash advaance" they will still call back lol

Bottom line. Establish a solid relationship with your client, warn them of the climate of the industry and that they will be receiving unsolicited calls as soon as their deal is submitted and to only communicate with you, and most importantly never provide the correct phone number or email address on the application you submit. When it's time to fund, then you can provide the correct contact information to the lender. At no time should anyone need the merchants cell or email until the funding call.

Be smart. Watch your back, and these situations can be avoided.

West do you have everyone in Calif following you? You need to make sure they understand you are joking.

Sometimes when you say "entombed" I have to ask vito who is sitting next to me what that means lol

ok I am getting my cheery disposition back...I am sitting here laughing remembering the Bosnian guy who told the underwriter to f off.

He sounded like latka graves from taxi ( for those old enough to remember )

( I said omg what did you say to the underwriter....with an accent " i told him to a fk ah, a fk a you..fk face, isnt that what you told me to do?") lol

    Update.

Person at phone wont answer .... It never goes to VM. I have tried 20 diff from numbers. Merchant tried calling back etc.

I have 2 Solid Names. 2 Repeated Names from several of you. All very convincing.

    No Confirmation. Smh.

P.S. It is a **** deal. It went to funders that would fund it.

You posted the number, they are probably watching.

They are not going to pick up unless they think they can make money. If you really want to find out...wait a month...then call.Pretending to be a merchant ( or they change their number)

its not worth it...deals are always going to be moved around...lock down the merchant and be prepared for it.

There is a reason we do not "shotgun" out our applications to 5 funders...you cant narrow down the backdoor mole

An assistant or processor could take the phone number and pass it to her cousin(mole)...only way to close is to lock down the merchant. ( which cant be done by massisvly passing thru applications)

Welcome to the upper level...some never get here

** and this is why Ive told people from day one " join a reputable Iso and make your bones before you spend 5 k on furniturre and 10k on leads and 30k on payroll, because most will never make it **

I've been running into some trigger lead stuff. Some of the approaches are really good (and deceptive). Not saying this is a trigger lead scenario but the possibility exists.

all you have to do is call the number from a different phone, tell him you're returning a call from X business, and what do you have to do to move forward. Then give him an email address you've created using the name of the merchant or business in it so it seems legit, then when he emails you, you will know who he is.

Since I saved you $500, just send me 100 and we'll call it even.

Merchant has Neg Tradelines (Every Single one is Negative) , Not Active on SOS. Repeated Cash Advance Inquiries and Never Funded.... Oh yea.... also in Collections / Switched Banks on Yellowstone.

Our deals fell through. Had 75k and 45k 2nd.

If dude can fund him what he claimed on that 1st call, god bless him.

Oh yea.... and He has 3 Felonies.

    Instead of 75k and 45k.... He got 20k 40 Day 1.49 15% Fees. Eh.

It seems that someone steals the "dirt"

It is as if they know which ones have dirt and would be an easy decline so the submitting Broker keeps shopping it and spends more time shopping and wondering "who can fund this" meanwhile it gets stolen by the hamburglar and called right away...
