Yellowstone Capital is a leading Fin-tech company in the Merchant Cash Advance space based in Jersey
City, New Jersey. Since inception in 2009, Yellowstone Capital has grown to over $100M in revenue and
consistently funding over $35M / month in advances to small businesses across the country. The
current executive team is looking to hire a Financial Controller to report directly to the President & CEO.
The ideal candidate will grow into the CFO role based on leadership and execution capability.
Required Experience / Duties

Degree in accounting or finance from top undergraduate program only, CPA is highly desired
2 – 4 years of top accounting firm experience (tax, audit, advisory) but no more than 8 – 10 years total
experience. Additional corporate accounting / finance experience in the Finance / Lending industry is
desirable

Ability to grow into CFO role – proven entrepreneurial record and leadership qualities to lead a sizable
team (10 – 12) in all aspects of closing the books, creating regular financial statements, bank
reconciliations, managing the annual audit, managing the relationship with our debt provider,
interfacing with capital markets and managing and maintaining internal controls and procedures.
Mastery of QuickBooks, excel and other accounting software
Comfortable working in a high-paced sales environment
Expect to work long hours and occasional weekends
