    Isn't everything that is done within your company ultimately YOUR responsibility? I have seen several messages here where you are throwing others under the bus that didn't do something right, but people are only worried about the actions of the web developer as it relates to YOUR reputation. FYI.

    What does your web developer have to do with policy's content? No web developer should be responsible for that. That's a legal thing. But, again, it literally costs $20 to generate a solid privacy policy online.
