    ARF Financial

Anybody have some odd experiences with them?

I have a merchant seeking an 18 month term, which BB/Ondeck didn't qualify him for, but i feel as if they might.

The last time i subbed a deal to them, i ended up funding it at BB. A week or so later i received a phone call on my spoof, offering equipment financing/business loans. I had only subbed it out to Gibraltar/BB/Ondeck/ARF to compete.

    Thanks!

Did they identify who they were on phone? Most companies have a direct sales unit. Not saying anyone did this but it wouldnt be a surprise if companies are offering other products or services to merchants for revenue. Read your iso agreements and see if a right to solicit clause exists and if ownership of account language exists its verbiage for its our deal once we receive it. We read the agreements thouroughly and usually a red line is in order

Exactly what MCAVeteran said- the vast majority of Lender ISO's (I've read and negotiated about 40 of them over the years) have clauses that state they can call the merchant if they don't fund in X days. Typically, its anywhere from 7-30 days after submission.

Wall does not have that clause in our ISO agreement, and I have yet to have a single ISO complain that the deal they sent to me was backdoored by us. We are also not afraid to give BIG offers, even the first time we will be funding a deal for an ISO. Last week one ISO got his first deal funded with us, for $150k.

My experience with ARF, is that they send one of their own to merchant location to close the deal. I have had issues with them in past trying to take over the deal....I will just leave it at that. "Don't worry, we still pay you a commission" was the response I received.

I don't know if they still conduct business that way, but I am not willing to find out.

They were one of the first out there to offer pre-pay discounts and weekly payments to my recollection though

@johndouh17 - I'd be happy to talk with you about the submission in question that you sent to us. We are definitely against backdooring deals so I'm interested to look into the file and see what happened after you submitted. 281-538-8311 ext. 2110

Matthew - you've been on this kick for YEARS, yet we've never seen a file from you in the past 7 years that I've worked for the company. Do you think we have staff in every city and state throughout the country readily available to steal each ISO's loan? (ha)
If this were the case, I don't think we'd be continuing to board new ISOs each day, and our current ISOs (other than you) would be complaining as well.

my experience has been great. ISO Support is great as well. Process to fund is a little different from the Norm. But worth it....

    Got it.

I will be sticking to BB/Ondeck/IOU for those long term deals. Typically i have had them crush ARF on deals i have sent, but after this equipment bs came up, i don't want to take anymore risks.

These days when you sub a deal to anybody it is like putting your majoogely down there into an escort with no protection.

Only have great things to say about ARF! Closed some huge deals with even bigger commissions! Over 90k in commissions on 1 deal that renewed once. Lauren don’t worry about some of these pikers, they are eating Cheetos in their moms basement in jersey hating the rest of the world for being so cruel.

On Deck gave 200K over 12 months
ARF just gave me 300K over 78 weeks hahhaha
Let em stick with On Deck
Obviously havent funded with them recently because On Deck changed there Entire program and really isnt the On Deck we all got rich off of. Dont get me wrong I still mess with On Deck but if you have a file that has two UUCs on it. Auto Decline hahahhahaha

if it makes you feel better, I had a 250k deal from Ondeck on which I got a bit more at arf when I first signed up with ARF . They stipped hard so I said F it.

I sent him the ondeck online checkout. funded in 2 min. 0 stips. He had 6 uccs of equipment leases, which we explained. Didn't even have to provide a letter.

FYI this is witj the new ondeck

Also just closed a 45k 12 points 1.35 deal that in 2 min checkout.

    Ondeck is fantastic.

In this day and age you have to know your lenders. It has been proven how many lenders backdoor files submitted to them directly from external ISO's.
Now the key is how do you track it?

Many methods on how to expose a lender on the backdoor of your files!!

Simply just change the cell phone number and office number on the application. But the key is to make a google or spoof number for each specific lender you submit files on a regular.

Because the sales iso division is never the same as the lender itself!!
