Submitted a basic deal to SS last week after their rep Adam told me they do 3rd position deals.

Adam tells me the next day that we should have an offer and that they will get it to me asap.

Day goes by we get nothing...

Adam doesn't answer any of our calls or emails. I finally get someone else on the phone. He doesn't know an 'Adam'. But says he'll talk to underwriting and get back to us asap.

Nothing...

We've submitted a few deals to SS in the past, always occasionally because something always seemed to be off.

Anyways, just letting everyone know that the offices of Sandstone Funding are haunted by a phantom rep named Adam who may have been scorned by the company that previously occupied Sandstone's office and now seeks revenge on unsuspecting ISO's... Be wary.

To be fair, I remember they were one of the few funders that were aggressive on Used Car deals

About two years ago Adam actually came and met with me in New Hampshire. I used to submit deals all of the time but I never had one deal fund. Adam was a nice guy. We had a few drinks. I stopped submitting since nothing was ever funded and the offers were horrible. Yellowstone gave me better offers honestly.
