In my opinion cold calling is alive and well! One of the best ways to get a merchant is not through some fancy advertising campaign but good old fashioned cold calling. PICK UP THE PHONE AND DIAL! Only the successful would admit it! Sales is Sales!

Cold calling is nonsense. Smart calling is better. Call engaged leads not people who have been hit up 45 times in the past 3 days. Call with a reason other than "Do you need some money for your business."

It's like a salesman in 1969 saying "door to door sales is not dead, you just have to knock more."
