I have a client that is purchasing a Mexican restaurant in the Southwest. Purchase price is $700,000 with yearly sales of approximately $1.2 million. This does not include real estate. I know you will need a lot more information but hopefully this will get the discussion going with a direct lender.

To even get a discussion going they are gonna need more info. Does your client currently own a business? or will this purchase be his first? If he does currently own a business..whats the TIB? Monthly gross revenue? Credit Score? Any collateral to pledge...etc. How much cash down does he have to bring into the deal?

Nick, I have a call with the client in the morning. He sent over an executive summary that is lacking a number of questions as you addressed. I'm just jumping the gun trying to get names and understand what additional information may be needed that I'm missing. His executive summary only address the business and not his previous experience in managing restaurants etc.
