Are their any lenders that would be in second position in any of these types of lending?

Be careful stacking a factor...... You may be violating the Company's agreement and throw them in default.

I would suggest checking the factoring agreement and what assets are involved. Many times finance companies can only finance the AR or the advance rate is not that great. We have been known to get creative with AR advance rates to get people over the hump if it makes sense. We have the ability to finance AR, Inventory, and M&E. We will always lead with AR. Another thing to consider is cost. We typically provide much more cost effective facilities for the clients. We closed a deal recently where the Company was paying 22% and we did the deal at 9.5% saving the Company in excess of $200K/Year in factoring fees. The extra liquidity on assets and cost savings from fees equals more liquidity and profitability. Oh....and you will make more money than just stacking a loan on top of another lender.

The issue is she has a line of credit with her local bank and they put some type of blanket lien on everything. Maybe phrased my post wrong I did not mean go behind the factor I meant is there any factor would go behind a bank line of credit.
