When did they happen and what were the circumstances? Did the person do a sstretch of time or was is dropped but they still show charges? All of these play a part

Honesty Ive never found any criminal history outside of money crimes and or violent crimes in the pursuit of money to be a deterrent especially if they've "paid their debt to society"

I mean isn't that what they tell you? "You've paid your "debt" so now youre free....obviously not...

Don't quite understand your comment Ricky, but we won't fund attempted murder nor financial crimes. If someone got in a bar fight 8 years ago leading to an assault issue or had a reckless driving issue it's not such a knock on their credit. That being said there are certainly times when its not so straight forward.

We have funded many times. depends on the crime. I can list several very successful American companies that the founder had criminal records and turned life around.

Since i have had a personal loss from drunk driving. I consider any dui to be attempted murder.
