What are lenders/funders views on doing a background check on brokers as they do on merchants? Also are you open minded to different stories that are made up or true behind it or not?Is there a different set of rules for brokers and merchants?
I will also will like to hear from broker shops. For me it was a no brainier to do them before hiring.Our industry had an extremely sad story a couple of months ago that happened with someone that did have a past.

I undergo background checks to be a credit card ISO. I'm 100% for it.

Most funders couldn't care less about broker backgrounds - or the well being of brokers in general. It's all about submissions. Period.

Ricky i believe in the check but i will be shocked if you have any lender that will actually have the cojones to come on here and say yes we dont give a damn as long as they send a submissions.

Background checks need to be MANDATORY. No excuses after what we just saw with Cops Episode 8 Season 14 Mugshot edition yesterday.

you can come home from a long vacation paid by the state and next morning be signed up with lenders submitting...so yea I think background checks are good idea
