CRM *Tip of the Week* Password Policies in Salesforce
With security being on the mind as of late, sometimes a simple refresher is needed for some of the login access/security customization available in Salesforce. In this case, password security, something that we all deal with everyday, and so much so that it can be easily overlooked as an important feature to keep in mind.
The Password Policies feature allows specific password requirements to be set for specific users, or for all users, across your entire organization. You know the experience: creating a password for a new account profile and the system says something to the effect of “This password is not strong enough”. Well you too can ensure your users’ passwords meet an acceptable level of complexity with just a few quick and easy setting changes with the Password Policies feature.
