One of my favorites is "Direct Lender"....anybody who gives anybody $5 is DIRECTLY LENDING and thus a direct lender.

I also love how many Tom, Dick and Harry funds out there are "One of the top" or " A Leading" company....but have to come on here to peddle their deals, because they no relationships, nor clue, how to get the deal done....

"benchmark for future business" or "to build a relationship with the lender" when brokers are selling a 7th and promising consolidation 30 days later. Actually spoke to a merchant whose broker told him he had someone willing to consolidate, but a minimum of 7 positions were needed to qualify for the program, merchant had 6 and took the bait. The phrase "first position," as very few seem to have any idea what that actually means. "Leads" "Term Loan"

Anything taking the "professional approach" away from working with others in your industry is old. We pitch Merchants and Brokers the same which make us talk to Merchants like a piece of meat. All of our terminology came from other industries and half of the terms don't apply. Especially the entire definition of and MCA product vs. the MCA Industry as a whole. So tell me... "anyone know where I can get good leads?"
