    Deal Request: Check Cashing

I don't want to shop, but I have been working with this merchant for a few weeks and I would like to get a little more traction on his request. Don't let the industry steer you away as he is in good standing and long time business owner with good credit.

    • Check Cashing (NE Region)
    • 2MM a Month (2-3% revenue)
    • Ending balances do not go below 10k
    • 1st pos payoff appx $60k or 2nd pos with a longer term as he will payoff the 1st with no issue
    • Credit is good
    • TIB: 10 years

I have offers for over $100k at short terms

Requested and closed: $125 - 150k over 12 months at a 1.40 will close. He would like under 600 day payments but if the approval/term is right he will accept a higher daily

This is a personal deal from a past merchant I've helped and has NOTHING to do with PSC. PSC understands the request from the merchant and is allowing me to search for possibly direct funders who could satisfy this request and other request like it as we have open syndication in our network and would like to entertain the possibilities of working with new funders who think "outside of the box". Please feel free to reach out by email to discuss further.

    Thank you!

Amanda, if this client has collateral, I think it would be a great fit for WBL. Want to talk about it?

It's not what was requested,....it is what the merchant QUALIFIES for..

this is a second position situation...with a usually restricted industry.

    12 month deal, or 252 payments @ $600 a day would mean payback of $151,200. At $125,000, that's a 12 month 1.21.

Once again, it isn't what the merchant wants, it is what they qualify for

Chambo- Totally agree that it's what they QUALIFY for - not always what they request. Sometimes the needs/wants of a merchant seems like it would be a good fit until each Funder qualifies them to a different approval. Thus the issues with stacking etc. because the first round doesn't suffice.

The industry restriction is a BIG problem with me getting him approved. a 10 year old business doing a consistent $2-3MM a month making a 2-4% isn't that high- yes. but the payback is there, the credibility is there, and just like the few merchants in this world who sees nothing wrong with his industry choice is wondering why no one is picking this up.

From an Underwriting standpoint- I see the max approval. Do I know what he is doing with the money- yes. Is there growth- of course! The guys not going out to Vegas tomorrow.

Your'e right, under a 1.45 for 12 months on a check cashing place is unheard of for an MCA- but it is worth a try.
