Trucking business with 2.5M Rev/yr - looking for revolving credit or MCA

    Hi all,

I have a customer that is looking for a temporary solution to fund 200-300k in working capital. Here is a high level description of the business:

Trucking company that moves cargo between MX and the US, they have a topline of 2.5M/year and have been operating for a bit over 5 years. Their main source of funding is factoring, they have a structure where the factor advances invoices, pays their suppliers and then funds the remainder to the customer's bank account (that is why statements show deposits of 40-50k/month). This has limited their growth because they are short ~250-300k in working capital, they are looking to cover that gap. For context, they are going through the due diligence to raise a large equity round (which is expected to close in2-3 months). Some of the challenges:

    • There are 3 owners (33% stake each) and 2 of them have bad credit (~500 FICO). The other owner has a ~700 FICO
    • Some daily balances are low (less than $100)
    • The Company has an "asset-light" strategy for flexibility where they rent trucks instead of owning tem (they have. no hard assets to use as collateral)

They have an MCA offer for up 50k, 8 month term and a 1.42 factor rate. The repayment is daily (pretty bad considering the use of funds). The company is looking for a better payment term (weekly at least) or larger amount all else equal. Let me know if you think this can fit your credit box. I have a partner sending me more trucking deals, so I am looking for funders that understand the industry that I con build a relationship with. You can contact me here -> [email protected]

We can help with all equipment financing and lease-backs. We also have private short term loan solutions with our banks that may be able to help here, even with low credit from 2 owners. PM me or reach out to discuss. 561-203-6001 Sean M

The best solution here might be to use the partner with the 700 FICO to do credit card stacking. Reach out, I love doing that

Do they own homes? If so, we have a fast Heloc that might work for the 700 owner. For the others, we can look at Equity Advance type deals, that don't require proof of income and are very relaxed on credit. 500 is the lowest. I also have a source that doesn't check credit. These don't have any payments either, however they only have 2 years to get thier situation improved to refinance, or they would need to sell.
